Panic mode starts to set in as I type this. Where did all the time go in regards to weeks?!? It seems like just yesterday that we were at 18 weeks finding out it was a boy! Now, 9 weeks later I am starting to wonder where the time is going! I feel like I am in panic or crunch time mode! The nursery is nowhere near done... my grandma got us these amazing wall stencils for the wall mural, but I honestly dont think we will have time to hand paint everything!
Clark helped me finish, today, the canvas name for Anson and it turned out really well for my first set of letters! Now, I did redo the monkeys. When I first cut the fabric, I didnt realize the monkeys were sideways and I only realized AFTER I glued them all to the canvases! All thr pictures are at the bottom :-)
The worst part about decorating the nursery is Pinterest...everytime I see something I like, I get ready to start doing it, until I see something better! We have the nursery set all set up, but we haven't decorated. My sister in law, Jess, gave us this great bookshelf, but we haven't had the time to strip the white paint off and stain it the espresso color like the rest of the furniture is... so that needs to still be done with the decorations. I feel like as the date gets closer, there are more things to do.
This week has been pretty busy though. I only had a waxing appointment this week, but I have had quite a few candle orders come in, which all happened to be large. On top of that, Yogi is doing much better from his neuter but he does need quite a bit of attention. Clark thinks he is fine... but I know he is dying to play and get that cone off his head, which we did switch his plastic cone to a soft pillow cone today. On top of that, I am feeling up to one last Farmers Market before I am calling it quits until the baby comes. So I have been doing a lot of preparation for that as well.
In regards to the pregnancy, things have gone well... I'm a side sitter on the couch... I fold my legs under me and I lean on one side... I am having a hard time doing that now. Not just because I am uncomfortable, but I notice if I move a certain way, I get a sharp pain in my ribs. It makes me think it is time to sit like a normal person. I have had a VERY hard time breathing, especially getting winded. We walk half a mile to a mile a day and by the end I have a hard time sucking in air, in return, I will probably start using my inhaler soon. I get winded pretty bad walking up and down the stairs. Other than that, my skin is finally clearing up and I have had some more energy to do all the orders I have been getting. The one really strange thing, I never noticed it before anyways, is the insides of my lips where my gums are seem to be a little rough now when I run my tongue over them. It is quite odd!
I did have an appointment with my OB and everything was normal and the heartbeat sounded nice and strong! After, we did our CMH maternity ward tour :) I would have preferred to go to Los Robles as they do have a nicer facility since it is newly remodeled, but since my OB is on the board at CMH she said that was the option we had. We just walked through everything and got to know where to go, etc. We also preregistered so we don't have to do it the day of. I am excited to deliver (and VERY nervous) at CMH, but at the same time, I know they are rated through the roof and have an excellent Labor & Delivery ward!
How far along? 27 weeks, 3 days!
Total weight gain/loss: 21 lbs total
Sleep: Depending on the night, I can go a whole night without waking up, other nights 10 times has been my max of waking up to pee.
Best moment this week: Finishing Anson's canvas letters, now we just have to hang them.
Movement: Oh yeah!
Food cravings: Milkshakes
Belly Button in or out? In.
Happy or Moody most of the time: Normal lol
